A little bit about me…Hi, I'm Maddy! I grew up in foster care till I was 8 & then was adopted into a big family (I'm an aunt of over 16 nieces & nephews). I have worked as a caretaker/nanny for children with behavioral issues/disabilities. I am very big on spending time outdoors & doing activities that keep my body healthy such as running or MMA class which is also a work ethic I apply when coming to care for children as well! even if it's just 20 minutes a day outdoors do a lot of good for the kiddos. I am a very clean and organized person so you would never have to worry about coming home to toys laying everywhere ( please do understand I am not a maid so I will not be doing every household chore). I'm bilingual as well ( English & Spanish ) so I like to teach the kids a few phrases or works to help them to learn Spanish as well.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were…taught Sunday school. chaperone for school field day trips. volunteer at the children's center. Assistant coach to a girl (12-14 yrs old ) softball team. countless of experience babysitting family members & family friends' children.
Activities I enjoy doing with children…love to create something with them to understand their imagination. I like to teach kids how to cook as a way to prepare them for the future while feeling like they add contributions to the family. making up stories and songs.
The most important part about being a nanny…I had to grow up young so for me to have a career with kids, gives me experiences I never encountered as a kid. I love seeing how they comprehend and resolve a problem despite their small knowledge of the world, using words they know and through their feelings.

My favorite nanny moment…when I stopped working for a family due to them putting the kids in school, I happened to run into them a couple of months later at a store. The kids kept begging me to come back and would tell me everything that has happened in a few months. To this day, they still send me random emails to keep me up in their life. ( ages are 6 & 3)
