Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have done two international service trips where I worked with children.
My first trip was to Fiji and we were tasked with building a trash incinerator for a school because they don't have a nation wide trash service. While I was there I worked with grade school children and taught them basic math and science and helped them read English. We obviously played with them and carried them around with us and it was incredible.
My second trip was Tanzania and we were there for a month. We stayed at a boarding school for some cultural immersion while we were working at an understaffed orphanage in the city. I facilitated meal times, changed dirty diapers, read to the kids, put them down for naps, and played with them. That trip was the best time of my life.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love playing with kids outside and love taking them to parks for them to play on the jungle gyms and swings. I also love being by the pool so I love taking them to swim, and with my experience as a lifeguard I can pay extra attention to them. I also love taking kids to zoos and aquariums.
I also have a soft spot in my heart for books and reading, so taking kids to libraries and book stores is amazing for me. I also love reading to kids so I can act out the characters and make the book come to life for them!

The most important part about being a nanny...
I love being a nanny because I feel children are the most important part of the world. They have such a carefree outlook and are always so positive. They are the next generation and being able to know that I am helping those kids become bright and successful makes my heart happy.
My experience with special needs children...
My previous nanny family had a child with ADHD and dyslexia. I worked with her all summer on her reading and ensured that I always had fun and engaging activities for her to do.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment was when I got to watch one of the kids' faces light up as she walked across a ceremonial bridge to show that she had graduated into middle school. I had known that child since she was six years old and being able to watch her walk across the bridge knowing how hard she had worked and being there for the majority of it was an amazing feeling.
