Hi, my name is Madison. I'm 17 years old and am soon going to be going to college. I've always loved children and love to play games and other such things children do. I've worked with a number of different children with a variety of personalities, from the ages of 6 to 17. I have about a year's worth of experience. I like to think of myself as a patient and sweet person. I'm able to come to conclusions easy if one arises with a child. I am free most evenings after 3:30 p.m. on weekdays and most weekends.

Babysat 4 children a couple years ago, I've worked with special ed and disabled students. I've participated in child safety puppeteers, and have dont volunteer work with the local fire department.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy any games, ranging from board games to outdoor activities to barbies. Any game children come up with is always fun and exciting. Children have such an imagination and make all the games they play, with or without someone, exciting and worth while; no matter how pointless it may seem to those who don't have imagination. I also enjoy just hanging out and telling stories.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I feel the most important part if being a nanny is to be able to work well with children and have patience for them. No one is perfect by any means, but children are such a light in our life that nannies must have the willingness to make an effort in caring for any child.

My experience with special needs children...

I've worked with a group of special needs children when I participated in the amazing program People P.E. I was able to lead exercises and activities for the kids in that class to participate in and expand their capabilities of which they didn't think they would be able to accomplish by the end of the year. Not a day went by that there wasn't a smile on all of their faces in the classroom.
