Hi! My name is Maddie, and I’m a Livermore-based nanny with over 4 years of experience caring for children from 3 months old through early teens. I’m passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and feel supported.

I am CPR, First Aid, and BLS certified (including the Heimlich maneuver), and safety is always a top priority in my care. I have strong experience with infant routines, developmental play, homework support, and maintaining structured, positive daily routines.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love creating days that are engaging, active, and fun while supporting each child’s development. Depending on their age, we might spend time reading books, doing arts and crafts, sensory activities, building with blocks, imaginative play, baking simple recipes, or working on early learning skills through play. I also enjoy getting children outdoors whenever possible, whether that’s neighborhood walks, trips to the park, nature exploration, scavenger hunts, or simply spending time playing outside. I believe children learn best when they are actively involved, so I focus on hands-on activities that encourage creativity, confidence, independence, and curiosity while keeping screen time to a minimum.

The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, nurturing environment where children feel loved, supported, and confident enough to grow. I believe my role goes beyond supervision. I strive to be a positive, consistent presence in a child’s life while supporting their emotional, social, and developmental growth. Building trust with both children and parents is incredibly important to me, and I take pride in providing dependable care, encouraging independence, and creating meaningful experiences that help children learn and thrive every day.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was when a toddler I cared for, who had always been very shy and hesitant around new people, ran up to me one morning with a huge smile and gave me a hug before their parent even had a chance to say goodbye. It was such a small moment, but it reminded me how meaningful it is to build trust and strong relationships with children. Seeing a child feel safe, confident, and excited to spend the day with me is one of the most rewarding parts of being a nanny.
