More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Not only did I grow up the oldest of four siblings but I've always loved caring for them since the moment they were born. I have babysat and nannied throughout the years besides for family, such as military families mainly, neighbors, friends children, and my god babies. I taught swim lessons at the YMCA along with their summer camp program working with all age groups from 3 years old - 14 years old, while on the weekends I would teach special needs swim lessons.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Indoor activities I enjoy doing are crafts, board or card games, reading with or to, hide and seek, stimulating activities. I believe it's very important to get children outside playing more than anything, playing whiffle ball, soccer, tag, chalk, or going to a park.
My experience with special needs children...
Working at the YMCA, I would teach swim lessons with autistic children from ages of 4-12. Special needs children also run in my family which created a lot of personal experience and understanding to their needs.

I also was a nanny (more so helper) for my amazing mother who has two sweet boys (10 and 7). I had become a second mom to the little one as the 10 year old is autistic and needed extra care. With that I have special needs experience as well as infant care!
And of course the random date night / part time nannying as well.
It has been my dream for a while to take a step back from management jobs to care for little ones again!
