At church while service has taking place, at football games on Friday nights so parents could watch their child playing, I also watched my cousin with autism when he was 6-9 years old.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Include playing outside, creative coloring games that incorporate numbers and letters, stimulation activities (playdough, slime, music, cooking), sharing activities, getting homework and reading done, I believe activities that are fun are what help you remember and learn and in young children it’s a crucial point in their life around 2-4 because that’s when they start forming complete sentences and learning how things work instead of just seeing it as it sits there. Being apart of their lives in that crucial point is so important to me because I want every young mind to expand as much as it can as soon as it can and I make sure activities around these kids is filled with knowledge and encouragement.

Is making sure that each and every child in your care feels cared for, safe, and that you can create a friend like bond over time. Children liking their nanny/babysitter is a very important part along with safety.

When I was having my going away party when I moved here (Canyon, TX) from Oregon and the family I nannied for came to say goodbye and I could tell the love and impact and I left on the girls I had cared for when I was saying goodbye to them for the last time. It’s what makes this job worth it.
