Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve cared for multiple families from my hometown, helping out with everything from daily routines to fun activities like crafts and outdoor play. I’ve also volunteered at several autism centers, where I’ve supported kids with different needs through play and learning. On top of that, I’ve done volunteer work at sporting camps, which gave me the chance to work with kids in a fun, active environment. All of these experiences have helped me become patient, adaptable, and great at making sure kids feel safe and cared for.

I love doing fun activities with kids like playing outside, going to the park, doing crafts, reading together, playing games, and even helping out with homework! I also enjoy being active with them when it comes to sports or just running around and having fun.

The most important part about being a nanny is building strong, trusting relationships with the kids while making sure they’re safe and happy. I love having fun with them, whether it’s playing games, doing crafts, or exploring outside, but keeping them safe and supported always comes first.

My experience with special needs children...

I don’t have a ton of hands-on experience working with kids with special needs, but I’ve grown up around it because my mom is a Special Ed teacher. Through her work in different schools and programs, I’ve learned a lot about how to interact with kids of all abilities. I believe in treating them with patience, kindness, and respect, just like any other child, because at the end of the day, they’re kids first.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was when I made ice cream in a bag with a little boy I was caring for. He thought the whole process, shaking the bag, watching it turn into ice cream, was hilarious and so much fun. We were both laughing the whole time, and it was such a simple activity, but seeing him so excited and proud of what we made made it really special.
