More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a part time nanny. I worked Monday-Friday. 3:30—6:00pm. Included picking up from school, bringing to therapy, and soccer games.

I was also a personal babysitter for two main families. One of which were a set of twins , the other was an autistic little baby and their sibling.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing arts and crafts and sensory play to get their minds rolling! I have tons of flashcards and worksheets ( for toddlers of course! ) to help them transition to headstart and or kindergarten! Playing outside with chalk to draw pictures or looking around for different flowers or leaves is also a really great activity I love to do.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being a relationship with not only the child, but the parents. I have extremely close bonds with all children from my daycare, as well that I have nannied and it is always important to me that they feel safe and loved and their mind is at a healthy point in development and helping them grow!

My experience with special needs children...

I’ve had different ages of special needs children. All were autistic and one was also deaf and used a hearing aid! Mutual trust is built between me and child and I take it day by day, with patience and kindness.
