In addition to my clinical experience as an SLPA intern, I have over four years of experience caring for children in educational, therapeutic, and recreational settings. I worked at the Boys & Girls Club in Morristown, where I supervised children, planned activities, provided one-on-one support, managed behavior, and created a safe, engaging environment. I also completed my student teaching in a CDC elementary classroom and in a work-based special education high school classroom, supporting students with diverse learning and developmental needs. Additionally, I volunteered with children and adults with disabilities through Hoof and Harness Experiential Learning, assisting with adaptive recreation, individualized instruction, and daily activities. These experiences have prepared me to provide safe, engaging, and individualized care for children of all ages and abilities.

Throughout my education and professional experiences, I have had the privilege of working with children with a wide variety of special needs, including autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, developmental delays, intellectual disabilities, ADHD, speech and language disorders, hearing loss, and other communication differences. My experience includes earning my B.S. in Comprehensive Special Education and a license to teach, completing my student teaching in a CDC elementary classroom and in a work-based special education high school classroom, serving as an SLPA intern providing speech-language therapy, working with children at the Boys & Girls Club, and volunteering with Hoof and Harness Experiential Learning, which works solely with the special needs children and adults.
