More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was working with a non-profit helping teens with disabilities build work ethic, social skills and gain employment. After that I started working with the Clayton School District in before/afterschool care across the district.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I try to tailor activities to each child’s age and interests, whether that’s imaginative play for younger kids or more structured games and projects for older kids. My goal is to create a safe, positive, and fun environment where kids can learn, stay active, and feel encouraged to be themselves.

Indoors, I enjoy doing crafts, art projects, building with blocks or Legos, reading stories, playing games, and helping with homework or learning activities. Outdoors, I’m always up for park trips, playground time, walks, sports, zoo trips, and creative play that gets kids moving and exploring. With the occasional trip to fun place that are educational and interactive.

The most important part about being a nanny...

knowing I make a impact on a child. That maybe they'll find something new they like or unlock a new skill. Hoping the children and parents feel safe and loved in my care.

My experience with special needs children...

My summers in college were spent back in STL work with teens and young adults with disabilities find employment. We worked on social skills, work ethic and any additional goals. After my time with that I started working in the Clayton School District in before/after school care; where we had a few students I got to work closely with those few.

The most important part about being a nanny...

When I was graduating from high school, I invited two families I had been with through the years. A total of 6 kids there for me. Well when my name was called, the arena was silent and I just hear a bunch of screeches and my name being chanted. Best feeling hearing that from the kids and their parents!
