Attending the University Of Utah for my elementary education degree I was able to access and learn a bunch of tools and resources for children of all ages. I completed my student teaching this past school year and have put in a bunch more practicum hours in many different schools and many different grades throughout the years.

The most important part about being a nanny is nurturing a child and providing an environment for them to succeed and thrive. I think that all children should have access to the kind of care that makes them feel safe and loved, and I strive to provide that with my care.

I have coached swim lessons since I was 12 and from that point on, I have found a specialty in teaching children that need extra support and specific care. Alongside that experience, I have also taken many special education classes where I have learned specific tools and resources to help guide children with special needs.

My favorite moments that I have experienced while nanny is pretty simple. Walking in the door and having children run up to you and be excited that you’re there is really special to me because I value creating a safe and fun environment. It fills my heart to see that the children know that and associate me with that kind of environment.
