A little bit about me

I am a junior at Saint Anselm College majoring in elementary education and am originally from Bourne, Massachusetts. I have several years of experience working with children of various ages and abilities, including students with disabilities. I substitute teach for preschool through second grade at Bournedale Elementary School during college breaks and have worked for the past two summers as a paraprofessional in their Extended School Year program in both preschool and fourth/fifth-grade classrooms. I am currently student teaching in a first-grade classroom and have additional experience in fifth grade, as well as teaching dance to high school students. I also participate in my college’s Access Academy program, supporting underprivileged high school students.

Outside of school, I have a strong background in dance, enjoy fishing, boating, and spending time at the beach, and have taught sailing in a summer program. I hold a boater safety certificate and am CPR and first aid certified.
