Some of the duties I performed were: preparing meals, creating and implementing age appropriate lesson plans, managing large groups of children at a time, diaper changes, monitoring pool and outside time, maintaining a safe and clean environment, maintaining good patent communication, first aid.
Between 2020-present I have been a full time nanny. During this period I have sleep trained, meal prepped healthy well balanced meals, potty trained, implemented child led weaning, encouraged a Montessori style learning environment and transported children to and from activities.

Some of my favorite indoor activities to pass the time with younger children include sensory activities (sensory bottles or squish bags), dance parties to get the wiggles out, cooking/baking, and arts and crafts! While outdoors I love to let the little ones explore nature by going on walks and visiting local parks.

I feel the most important part about being a nanny is to become a safe space for any littles in your care. When children not only have their physical needs met but also their psychological, they are able to become more confident, happy and secure!
