I worked as a ski instructor for small children for two winter seasons teaching them how to ski and helping them have tons of fun learning to ski!
I also babysat my niece when she was a newborn a few hours a day for the summer. This was when I was 15 years old.

I love making fun crafts with kids. I also love taking them on walks and to the park. I am outdoorsy and love skiing so if they are old enough I have taught children how to ski and it was tons of fun.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is making sure the children feel seen. Sometimes children struggle to be away from their parents/not completely with them at all times. It is important for me as a nanny to reassure and comfort the child. Children need to know that they are loved and seen.
My experience with special needs children...
I currently work a one hour job in the early morning helping two children prepare for school. The eldest has non debilitated special needs.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was when Junior (three year old at my previous job) was trying to tell me he wanted to go to the “festival” but kept saying “vegetable”! These moments are so adorable and funny.
