A little bit about me

Hello! 👋 I’m a 40, and I have 20+ years of experience supporting children (and adults) of all abilities.

I’ve spent my life witnessing the magic of a child’s imagination. Whether in residental, daycare, aftercare, summer camps, and Montessori prek - love, respect, and happiness for each individual is always the goal.

I am a mother to a 21-year-old, teenage twins, and a 2-year-old daughter. I’m looking for a client who is comfortable with my toddler tagging along. Please note she has a severe egg allergy, so I need to be very diligent about keeping her space safe.

We stay active and love being out in the community. We are Creative Discovery Museum members (we can bring 3 kids for free!) and frequent the Chattanooga and North Georgia libraries.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is being able to provide my daughter with the same lifelong family feel, as I have with my son. I am still in the lives of many of the children I have babysat for.

My experience with special needs children...

I am 1 of 5 adopted children, and so happen to be the only one not special needs. I've been helping my mom fight the board of education to promote inclusion, resources, and equality that help foster integrity and respect for each of my siblings, and their peers' needs, since as long as I can remember.

As a teenager, I volunteered at a local daycare for children who needed extra support with walking and speech.

I then spent half my 20s Advising people transitioning from institutionalization to an independent assissted living.
