The most important part about being a nanny...
For me, safety, positivity, and healthy boundaries are some of the most important things to me as a nanny! Watching them learn and grow safely while being a positive role model is one of the joys of working with kids!
My experience with special needs children...
I have cared for children at summer camps and during my time as an after school caregiver with special needs. Mainly children on the spectrum.
The most important part about being a nanny...
When I was babysitting one of the families I worked for had two boys ages 6 and 9.
The youngest was scared of the outside and preferred his games in his room. But one day the parents allowed me to take them to a park. The youngest was nervous and over stimulated by the park, but I was teaching them about history and nature as a whole. They seemed to enjoy that and the eldest was learning with his hands. I was trying to lighten the youngest’s mood when i was joking with him, and i immediately slipped and fell in the mud. The boys cackled and for some reason that gave the youngest confidence. He began exploring and asking questions all on his own! It was embarrassing for me but the joy on his face and the bravery that came over him just made my day. It was worth it and it made me so happy to see him come out of his shell and try something new!

I am a mommy of a baby girl. I worked childcare practically my whole life! I’ve worked in multiple high school childcare classes that required you to work with kids in a school setting. I’ve worked in-home, daycares, after school programs. I’m experienced in all ages. I was a teacher at multiple daycares and taught infancy-5 year olds. I’ve also done after school programs with 5-11 year olds. I was a gymnastics coach and taught all-ages. Working in-home I cooked 3 meals and 2 snacks per day. I’ve successfully encouraged kids to learn how to use the potty. I’m very experienced from silly kiddos that are injured prone to shy kids having trouble with speech. I am looking for night shifts or anytime from 5:30 pm - 7 am due to me having a baby of my own that requires her mommy’s love during the day.

Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in Lexington, KY: Gracie B.
Hello!
My name is Gracie, I am 23 years old and I am a momma to a beautiful baby boy!
I am looking to become a long term nanny or full time babysitter for someone in the Lexington area! I am looking for something full time preferably Monday thru Friday but can be flexible.
I come from a family of 7 kids, myself being the oldest, I helped my parents with my siblings everyday! My family has fostered and adopted 3 boys and all of them have their own needs — which has resulted in me having lots of patience and love for kids!
I have lots of experience babysitting and nannying for families with children of all ages as well as special needs. I would be more than happy to provide references as well! I am also CPR and First Aid certified.
Here's the kicker! I would need to bring my baby along with me, so whoever I work for would have to be okay with that!
I look forward to hearing from you!
