I recently worked at Deer Valley Resort in Park City, UT. I worked in the child care department where I gained experience with ages ranging from 2 months old to 5 years old. Before moving to Park City I lived in St. George where I had a job with a business called Utah Sitters. Through an app I received babysitting job requests. This allowed me to work with an even greater variety of kids and families. I feel confident in my skills with any age group thanks to these 2 jobs. Not only this but I’ve been babysitting for family friends since I was 12 so I have a lot of experience that continues to grow.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love art projects and crafts as well as reading books. When there’s snow I think it’s a blast to go out and play and when there’s not a good walk is my go-to.
My experience with special needs children...
I have had multiple babysitting/nannying gigs where I have had the opportunity to work with special needs kids. I’ve worked with autism and down syndrome as well as more physical special needs such as hip dysplasia and dysphagia (difficulty swallowing).
