I have worked with big kids (7-12 yr olds) as part of my mentoring volunteer organization in college. I have also worked with a local nonprofit (Confident Girl Mentoring Program) to support programming initiatives for underserved youth in Buffalo. Mainly, I was my sister's primary babysitter for her two toddlers when I attended college in the Boston area.

I love encouraging kids to build their reading and writing skills. As a child, I really enjoyed reading picture books and creating my own stories. I also think it is important for children to have time outside for their mental and physical wellbeing.
