Hello! My name is Maggie, and I would love the opportunity to care for your children and support your family.

I have previous babysitting experience and am excited to return to nannying because I genuinely enjoy helping children learn, grow, and explore the world around them. I am dependable, patient, creative, and have strong communication skills. I love engaging children through arts and crafts, outdoor adventures, reading, imaginative play, and hands-on learning.

Outside of childcare, I run my own handywoman business and spend my free time hiking, camping, creating art, gardening, and exploring nature with my dog. I believe children thrive when they feel safe, heard, respected, and encouraged to be themselves.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

My childcare experience comes primarily from several years of babysitting throughout my teens and early adulthood. More recently, I have assisted my sister, who works as a full-time nanny, by helping care for the children she looks after when additional support was needed. Through these experiences, I have developed confidence in supervising children, keeping them engaged in creative activities, maintaining routines, and creating a safe, positive environment where they can learn and have fun.

I believe one of the most important parts of being a nanny is helping children build confidence, creativity, and curiosity while also supporting harmony within the home. There are many reasons families need extra help, and I'm a big believer that it takes a community to raise a child. Parenting comes with a lot of responsibilities, and having trusted support can make life feel a little easier and more balanced for everyone.

The most important part about being a nanny...

There is this moment that I had when I was babysitting these two boys and they were getting a little rowdy and I wasn’t sure how to focus their attention so I had my toolbox in my van and I told them that we were gonna learn about different tools and how they work and we spent a good hour just going through all the tools that I had in my toolbox, quizzing them on what tools they were and how do we utilize them. It was actually really fun and I remember the oldest telling me about how much he enjoyed doing that.
