I am currently a full time teachers assistant during the school year at a catholic school. I am relocating to TX. I have worked in childcare facilities and a school setting going on 11 years. I started babysitting when I was 12. I have been a long term nanny for 3 families that I am still very close with.I love to watch children develop and interact in fun learning games and active play. I work well with families to make a plan of what they want their day to day schedule to look like and support them the best way I can.

I am an elite level travel softball coach for ages 10-14. I care for each girl in the organization and each different team like they are my own family.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing indoor and outdoor activities that are fun yet educational like going to the zoo, park, hiking trails. Or doing creative play inside such as playing dramatic play like kitchen and dress up or doing science experiments, playing pretend like we are back at a different time and incorporating history in our play.

I was the lead pre-k teacher at a daycare with 4 students who were special needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

This past summer I was nannying for my current family. They have 3 kids 2 boys ages 10 and 6 and one girl who is 9. We went to a very large wild life state park and they found their own way around the entire place using a map a train schedule and their surroundings without my help. It was such a cool moment after the first time we went to the zoo showing them how to use a map and landmarks they figured it out themselves and applied it to the wild life park. They worked as a team without arguing and found their way around deciding if it would be faster to walk or use the little train to get where they wanted to go.
