I've raised my little brother since he was born and learned to change diapers. I've babysat children of family and friends. The age range I've babysat from newborn to 11 years of age. I do get along with teenagers and can provide a safe, comfortable space to express themselves.

Outside activities I love playing are tag, playing with nerf guns, foam swords, light sabers, sports, playing pretend and any games the children prefer to play.
Inside activities I love playing are building forts, coloring, arts and crafts, reading, playing with dolls or action figures, playing video games, playing pretend, board games, watching movies or TV shows on repeat.

Open communication and trust between myself, the children, and the parents. It is very important that everyone is on the same wave length of all the rules and boundaries for everyone. Providing a space for parents and children to talk about their feelings in an honest and non judgmental way is important whether it's in a group talk or a one-on-one.

I currently do not have experience with children with special needs at this time but i am willing to learn.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I remember when my little brother was 3, it was raining very hard outside. I purchased some boxes from a home improvement store previously and spent a little bit making a fort out of them. We played pretend for hours, and after he was out of energy, I made a bowl of popcorn, and we watched a movie. Honestly, it was one of my favorite and cherished moments of my life.
