I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology and will be starting graduate school in the field this fall. I have extensive experience working with children through my internships, including serving as a student clinician in a public school setting with children from Pre-K through fifth grade. I also have a strong background supporting individuals with a variety of special needs through my work as an adaptive fitness coach at the Ability Center, where I focused on inclusive physical activities and communication strategies.
In addition to my professional and academic experience, I’ve also provided childcare for children aged 5–10 over the years for family friends. My combined background in speech development, special education, and hands-on childcare allows me to offer thoughtful, responsive, and engaging care tailored to each child’s needs.

I also love spending time outside when the weather permits, encouraging active play, exploration, and movement. The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel supported and valued. It’s about building trust—not just with the child, but also with the family—and being a consistent, positive presence in the child’s daily life. I believe it’s important to encourage growth through meaningful interactions, hands-on learning, and play, while also respecting each child’s unique personality and needs.
My experience with special needs children...
My experience with special needs children has been both extensive and deeply meaningful. I worked as an adaptive fitness coach at the Ability Center, where I supported individuals with a range of physical and developmental needs through inclusive movement and communication-based activities. Additionally, I’ve volunteered with nonprofits such as Joy Prom and the A Games, which gave me the opportunity to build positive, encouraging relationships in fun and supportive environments. These experiences have strengthened my patience, creativity, and ability to adapt to each child’s unique strengths and needs.
