A little bit about me

I'm a current elementary Montessori assistant guide looking to switch to a home-based nanny job. I've fulfilled many roles with various groups of children (9 mos. to 11 years) in solo positions as well as in co-guide teams. I've especially enjoyed connecting with one 10-month-old student as she transitioned to our program's daycare. I really loved these experiences that focused on spending time with infants and toddlers as they explore the world through experiences like food prep and outdoor activities within safe, age-appropriate limits.

I've also run camps with a a variety of ages (4-11) during off weeks at school. I love to explore nature, craft, do simple experiments, sled, read, and cook with this age group. I'm comfortable and experienced with traveling locally and supervising in locations like parks, libraries, rinks, and trails.

I'm looking for a tight-knit family environment where I can use my positive discipline skills (Love and Logic) to provide quality childcare.
