As a paraprofessional and behavior technician, I’ve worked closely with preschoolers and school-aged children—including those with autism and developmental delays—supporting everything from daily routines to emotional regulation and learning goals. I’ve also supervised kids in active play environments like trampoline parks, so I know how to keep things both fun and safe. My approach is patient, nurturing, and responsive to each child’s unique needs.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing creative and engaging activities with kids that let them express themselves and have fun! Some of my favorite things to do include music time—whether that’s singing, dancing, or playing simple instruments—sensory play like slime, kinetic sand, or water beads, and classic arts and crafts projects that let their imagination run wild. I also really enjoy pretend play, whether we’re setting up a “grocery store,” playing dress-up, or going on imaginary adventures. I’m big on making sure playtime is not just fun, but also a chance for kids to learn, explore, and feel confident in their own creativity.

I have experience working with children who have special needs, particularly those with autism and developmental delays. In my roles as a paraprofessional and behavior technician, I’ve provided one-on-one and small group support tailored to each child’s unique learning style, communication needs, and emotional regulation. I’m trained in using behavior strategies like ABA, implementing IEP goals, and creating visual supports to help children feel more confident and understood. I approach every child with patience, empathy, and flexibility—always aiming to create a safe, respectful environment where they can thrive at their own pace.
