Some activities I like to do with the kids are coloring, reading books, playing with toys, running around outside. On more chill days, watching tv works as well. I also love being able to incorporate teaching skills, so I've always liked having them cook with me and being involved with activities like that.

I feel the most important part of being a nanny is the safety and well being of the child or children but also, them being comfortable with who's looking after them
My experience with special needs children...
I don't have much experience with special needs kids, but I do have a little. I have a cousin and a few kids I look after that do have special needs. Depending on the circumstance, if I can be told some of the basics of what the child needs and how to go about looking after them I don't see any problem with working with kids who need a little extra help :)
