Hello!
My name is Makenna and I am a student at the University of Utah. I find fulfillment in providing for others and have always enjoyed caring for kids.
My childcare experience includes being a babysitter and summer camp staff member for my church, the City Church in San Diego, CA. There, I was responsible for creating a fun, comfortable, and interactive environment for infants, preschool, and elementary age children. This would involve me monitoring many kids on my own at times and maintaining order through conflict resolution skills and redirection. Additionally, I was an assistant for a horseback riding summer camp for elementary and middle school-aged children.
As a babysitter, I believe it is important to be a positive role model and stay engaged with the kids you are working with.
