Hi there! My name is Makenna and I've been working with kids for the past 6 years! I am pursuing an Elemetary Education degree at UNR which has given me many opportunites to work with children in an academic setting. I also worked at UNR's Early Head Start program for over 3 years servicing infants to 3 year olds who came from low-income families. My time at this job gave me opportunities to complete trainings to further my education on developmental practices and child safety as well. I also worked for a nannying and babysitting agency for nearly 6 months where I babysat children of all different ages. I love working with kids because I get to help them feel loved and cared for as well as getting the chance to watch them develop and grow.
