About 2 years ago I had a little girl that was a patient of mine with Osteosarcoma and was admitted to my unit for about 6 months. I became extremely close with her and her family, to where I would pick up shift just to see them and make sure they were comfortable. I still have contact with them and see them on a regular basis, I consider the little girl like my sister.
