While my degree isn't in education or child care, I've had a decent amount of experience working with children! I participated in a program my junior and senior year of high school where students were assigned to help out in different classrooms. My junior year I helped out in a second grade classroom, and my senior year I helped out in the infant room at the early childhood center. During my junior year of college, I babysat two days a week for a someone who worked at the University from August of 2022 to May of 2023. My most recent job was working as a teachers aid in first grade classrooms for a charter school in KC. I was employed in this position from August of 2024 to July of 2025. I love working with children and would love to help families in anyway I can!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Painting, reading, crafts, doing outdoor activities (hiking, biking, playground, etc.). I would love to try whatever activities your children are interested in!

While I have never been a nanny, I think the most important thing about working with children is making sure they feel safe and heard. They have beautiful, creative minds that they should be allowed to use to the best of their ability!
