I was a lifeguard for two and a half years and also taught swimming lessons during that time! I also volunteered with special needs children throughout high school, as a lifeguard and also just a friend to hang out with and go to school events with.

I love being outdoors, and especially love swimming and walking during the summers. I also am a painter and think introducing children to the arts is super important. I majored in English and History in college so I love reading and museums as well.

I’ve volunteered with special needs children for nearly three years, mostly in a lifeguard position. I also was generally a friend to special needs children through a program called Best Buddies in which we spent time just hanging out and being “buddies” to children with special needs.
