A little bit about me

My name is Marcilena, but everyone calls me Marci. I am originally from the midwest (the Ozarks) where I grew up in a state licensed daycare facility run out of our home. Growing up in this setting I learned all about interacting with children and how to properly implement early childhood development and learning skills. I went to college for my Associates of Science in Biology, but decided to change my education trajectory to focus on architecture and design instead. For the last two years I have called New Orleans my home and love it very much. Due to an unexpected opportunity and because of my partner moving to Seward for his profession in the field of mental health, I will be relocating to Seward in early April 2022. I am very organized, creative, and compassionate. I enjoy hiking, cooking, swimming, and creating art. I look forward to the epic adventure of living in Alaska and becoming a part of this small and wonderful community.
