A little bit about me

Hello!
I my name is Margaret Gallagher. I am 20 years old and a student at University of Iowa majoring in Elementary Education and a minor in Psychology. I have several years of child care experience working with ages from 3 months to 12 years old. I am happy to send references and/or resume at any time. I enjoy working with the families together to create a safe and fun atmosphere for the kid(s). My goal is to help make the parents lives easier while creating a bond with the kids from creating new games with them, working on homework, to baking a dessert (for after dinner of course). Additionally, I try to create an encouraging mindset to build confidence with kids to feel safe to be themselves and to trust me. I have a deep passion for child care and my goal of becoming a teacher has been set since I was 5 years old and every family I have worked with, every education class I have taken, and all my teaching internships I have done has only strengthened my admiration for kids.
