Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love engaging children in activities that are both fun and enriching. Some of my favorites include arts and crafts, sensory play, story time, and imaginative games. I enjoy spending time outdoors—whether that’s going on nature walks, playing at the park, or organizing simple scavenger hunts. I also like incorporating learning into play, such as practicing letters, numbers, or social-emotional skills in age-appropriate ways. My goal is always to create a safe, supportive environment where children feel happy, curious, and confident.

My experience with special needs children...

Through my work at a preschool, I’ve gained extensive experience supporting children with a wide range of special needs, including autism, Down syndrome, non-verbal communication, developmental delays, behavioral challenges, shaken baby syndrome, mobility issues, and complete blindness. I work closely with children on social-emotional skills and behavior regulation using individualized strategies and a trauma-informed, compassionate approach. I’m comfortable assisting with mobility, sensory needs, and adaptive communication methods such as gestures, visuals, and sound cues. My goal is always to create a safe, supportive environment where every child feels seen, heard, and empowered to grow at their own pace.
