A little bit about me

My name is Margaret, and I am a retired special education school teacher with my Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and I am certified in Special Education for ages Early Childhood all the way to high school EC-12. I am not interested in the stress of teaching in school districts with the pressure of the daily school system rules and especially administration evaluations. I am interested in doing what I like to do and that is just teaching and caring for kids of any age. I have three amazing daughters. I do not have grandchildren yet. I have been working part time in the nursery at the YMCA for two years just to get my time with some little ones because it is so much fun that it does not seem like work. I make safety my priority while they have a great structured time playing games or doing arts and crafts.
I love all animals and have experience training dogs and horses. I do child care and tutoring for all basic subjects. Math, Science, Social Studies, and English.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have taught horse back riding lessons, and conducted swimming lessons and summer camp activities.
I have been a teacher as my career but I am ready to get a break from the many extra hours of needless paperwork and stress of administrator political backlash from the schools.
I currently substitute in Gadsden ISD and last year I taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade English Inclusion students in Canutillo ISD. I am also working at the Westside YMCA in the nursery caring for children from 6 months - 7 years old just for fun. I have raised 3 children of my own that are doing well and are all grown up now. No grandkids yet so I enjoy being with kids of any age anytime..
I have taught Special Education Classes from EC-12th grade and I am certified as a teacher in SPED, and
certified as a 4th-8th grade Generalist studies teacher, (Math, Science, Soc. Studies, and English. ) Tutoring is right up my alley too.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Swimming is my favorite and I am available for swimming lessons if you would like to teach your children sometime soon.
I really enjoy going to the park and playground on the swings.
I can cook, do laundry, light cleaning, and tutor any subject.
