More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have extensive experience working with children in a variety of settings. I’ve babysat for a family with two young boys, ages 4 and 6, providing attentive care and engaging activities. I also worked as a camp counselor, supervising the nursery and kindergarten group of children ages 3 to 5, where I led games, crafts, and group activities. In addition, I served as a teacher’s assistant in a middle school setting, helping to supervise and support children ages 5 to 13 through classroom activities and structured play. These roles have given me strong skills in communication, patience, and creative problem-solving when working with kids.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
-Reading stories and looking at picture books together
-Doing arts and crafts like drawing, painting, or making simple DIY projects
-Playing outdoor games like tag, hide-and-seek, or ball games
-Helping with simple cooking or baking activities (like decorating cookies)
-Singing songs and dancing
-Building with blocks, Legos, or puzzles
-Exploring nature—going on little walks, collecting leaves or rocks
-Playing imaginative or role-playing games
-Doing simple science experiments or fun learning activities
-Watching age-appropriate movies or cartoons together

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is building a trusting, caring relationship with both the children and their family. It’s not just about supervision; it’s about creating a safe, supportive environment where kids feel loved, understood, and free to grow. Being patient, consistent, and genuinely engaged helps children feel secure and confident, and that’s what really makes a difference in their everyday lives.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was when I helped the kids I was watching put on a little “restaurant” in their living room. They made menus, set the table, and took turns being the chef and waiter. It started as a silly game, but it turned into a creative and really sweet bonding moment. I loved seeing how imaginative they were, and it reminded me how rewarding it is to support kids as they learn through play.
