More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
In addition to my nanny experience, I worked at the Boys & Girls Club, where I cared for children of different ages and personalities in a group setting. I also have experience caring for twins and providing one-on-one care for a young child with separation anxiety. These experiences have helped me become patient, adaptable, and confident in meeting each child’s individual needs.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing arts and crafts, reading books, playing games, spending time outside, cooking or baking simple recipes together, and finding fun activities that match each child’s interests. I also enjoy quiet moments, whether that’s story time, helping with homework, or simply relaxing together after a busy day.
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and supportive environment where children feel comfortable being themselves. I want every child I care for to feel heard, valued, and encouraged while giving parents peace of mind knowing their child is in caring and dependable hands.
My experience with special needs children...
While working at the Boys & Girls Club, I had the opportunity to work alongside children with different needs. Although I wasn’t hired specifically as a special needs caregiver, the experience taught me the importance of patience, understanding, flexibility, and meeting every child where they are. I believe every child deserves to feel included, respected, and supported, and I’m always willing to learn how I can best meet each child’s unique needs.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moments are when a child begins to truly trust me. Whether it’s seeing them run to greet me, hearing them laugh, or having them feel comfortable enough to share their thoughts and feelings with me, those moments remind me why I love working with children. Building those relationships is the most rewarding part of being a nanny.
