I’ve been a paid nanny for over six years, and caring for children is something I genuinely love. I’m a kind, patient, and dependable person who enjoys creating a fun and supportive environment where kids feel safe and encouraged. In addition to my nanny experience, I’ve spent over five years volunteering with children through vacation Bible school and mentoring programs, helping them grow, learn, and feel valued. Every summer, I also take part in a month-long internship working with kids, which has deepened my understanding of their needs and how to support them in creative and engaging ways. Building strong, trusting relationships with children and their families is something I truly take pride in.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing activities that help children learn, grow, and have fun at the same time. I enjoy reading books together, doing arts and crafts, playing outside, and going on nature walks or little adventures. I also like baking simple recipes with kids, playing games, and creating fun learning moments through everyday routines. I always try to follow their interests and make each day exciting and meaningful.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The number one most important part about being a nanny would be the child’s safety. Knowing surroundings or how to respond to emergencies is very important to me. Knowing how and when to say no if it puts the child at risk is also very important. I truly value other things like trust, emotional support and family values but my number one would be child safety!
My experience with special needs children...
I don’t have direct experience working with children with special needs, but I’m always open to learning and willing to follow any guidance or routines that support the child’s needs. I believe every child deserves patience, understanding, and care, and I’m committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for all children.
