Hey there! I’m Maria, a Texas native currently living in Chicago and studying Political Science and Africana Studies. I love diving into big ideas, but I’m just as passionate about getting things done and connecting with people. My background is a bit of a mix—everything from managing communications and organizing recruitment to handling regulatory details. On top of my academic and professional projects, I also spent a lot of time working as a nanny for a family with three awesome kids (ages 3, 7, and 9.)
