I’m currently and have been a volunteer at my church for ages 7 and under for about two years. I’ve also had 6 (different children) babysitting jobs in the past two years. (Only six because I also have school)
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy listening to music and watching movies. I LOVE to bake and although I’m not the perfect baker, I am still able to make food with/for the children. I love taking walks and catching sunsets. I think taking walks and going to new places is important for the child. I like walking to stores or just places in nature if the parent allows. I like doing/trying new things especially if the child wants me to. I do play basketball, Volleyball, track, and I’m starting flag football in the fall so I like to do sports with them and if they would like to do a different sport, I am willing to practice. I have painted or made crafts with most kids because I think it extends their creativity and I think dancing also extends creativity.
