"Mariah has been working with our family for the last 5-6 years. We have 3 children and she has cared for our kids from 12 weeks old to age 9. Mariah has assisted with laundry, driving the kids to sports/events, homework, school pick ups, and meal prep. She has also taken our kids on overnights when my husband and I have take trips together. She is great in a crisis, for example, my son broke his collar bone at football practice and she drove him to the ER and met us there. As our kids have aged, and spend longer hours in school, we have not needed her as often and any family would be lucky to have her join their family."

I once worked at a Waldorf-inspired, nonviolent communication–based daycare in Palos Verdes, CA, where I was introduced to Marshall Rosenberg’s work on Nonviolent Communication. That experience deeply shaped my approach to childcare — emphasizing empathy, respect, and mindful communication with both children and parents.

I love spending time outdoors hiking with children, doing arts and crafts, baking fun treats together, and reading stories that spark their imagination.
