A little bit about me

I’m 32 years old, my husband and I just bought our first home out in Granite Falls. We enjoy going on hikes, being out doors, reading and are very family oriented. I have worked with children as a babysitter/nanny for over 10 years. The ages of children I have watched have ranged from 4 months to 12 years. I also have experience with children that have ADD and ADHD as well as Autism. I have work experience as a behavioral therapist working with children with ASD and other developmental disabilities from the ages of 3 to 23. I enjoy taking kids to the park, kids museums, and on nature walks that are in the area, as well as doing fun activities like crafts, arts, and science. Some of the tasks that I have done are house cleaning, the child's laundry, school pick up, taking the child to different activities(sports/dance/swim lessons), helping out with homework, and meal prepping.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I started my nanny career an over 10 years ago with my first kiddo when she was 4 years old and out grew me last year at age 11. My next position was with two brothers who are 2 and 4. My last full time nanny position was working with a wonderful family with two brothers a 3 month old and an almost 3 year old who decided they didn’t need a nanny. I have worked as a behavioral therapist for kids with ASD. I am now looking for my next child or children to care for. I’ve been the household manager, chauffeur, as well as house cleaner. I enjoy keeping a clean house, reading books, exploring the outdoors and doing fun art projects!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think some of my favorite nanny moments have been when we are outdoors, whether is sledding down the hills at local parks during the winter or taking kiddos swimming or playing at splash pads, when we get to play and be silly together. I love seeing the bright happy smiles from littles who are able to have that free wild fun.
