More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I always babysat as a teen, and I worked at a childcare center called Kids Corner for 2 years working with preschoolers up to 3rd graders. I lead my own classroom and really enjoyed it. I worked as a nanny for a 13 month old as well, and now am a mother of a 15 month old. I attended LCC for 3 years pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love the outdoors and I am passionate about education. I love being outside, letting kids explore and collect little rocks and sticks. I enjoy doing crafts and art projects, making homemade playdough, and finding interactive and creative forms of play that incorporate the outdoors, nature, and education.

Safety is always number one. As a mom, I am always assessing, educating myself, and learning about how to increase safety measures in our home. I take that same level of caution into any home I am in.

The most important part about being a nanny...

When I worked at a childcare center in the preschool room, I always loved when we had music time after we had freeplay. We would put on classic songs (like down by the bay), and we would sing to set the mood for the day and I loved watching as the kids moods were uplifting and they would start singing and dancing and laughing. Music is such a fun tool to have in your tool belt to brighten the mood!
