As the oldest of five siblings, I’ve been naturally immersed in childcare from a young age. I’ve cared for my youngest brother, who has special needs, since he came home from the hospital, which has given me a deep understanding of patience, empathy, and the importance of individualized care. Beyond family, I’ve had extensive experience babysitting during PTA meetings, leading as a camp counselor at Girl Scout camps, and even teaching preschool-age children as part of a child development program. My professional experience includes nannying for families and working at summer camps, specializing in children from newborns to six years old. While I’m passionate about caring for younger children, I also enjoy working with older kids and fostering meaningful connections at every age.

I absolutely love creating core memories with the kids I care for. Field trips are hands-down my favorite activity when permitted — whether it’s the zoo, a museum, or a fun park, I enjoy watching kids explore the world around them and get excited about new experiences. I also love doing cooking activities together. I like to give kids small tasks in the kitchen so they can feel included and proud of helping out. Whether we’re on an outing or baking something fun, I enjoy making everyday moments feel special.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was taking a girl I babysat to the zoo. We spent the day exploring, laughing, and seeing animals she’d been excited about. While eating lunch near the giraffes, she looked at me and said, “Thank you for taking me to the zoo. You’re my best friend.” That moment showed our bond was more than just nanny and child. It reminded me that my heart is truly in this work. Being a nanny isn’t just a job; it’s about creating a safe, loving space where kids feel valued and cared for.
