A little bit about me

Hello my name is Mariana! I have 3+ years of experience working with children in a clinical setting and am looking to switch things up and focus in on making a difference with one family at a time.
Previously, I worked with children ages 18 months-15 years old with autism helping learn social, communication and life skills. I have also worked at a summer camp for neurotypical children ages 6-9 years old. I believe in enriching each child's life with learning experiences and validating their emotions while also teaching valuable coping skills to deal with big feelings and emotions. I am compassionate and detail oriented and have earned awards from the companies l've worked with for employee of the month as well as an award for compassionate care. I would love to make a difference in a family's life!
