A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Mariana Alyssa Guthrie, I turned 17 in June. I have worked for the Highliner cleaners for about 5 years when I was 10, started off with my mom and me working there together. And then 2 years later I applied for the trading Tongass ladies loft job. I worked there for only the summer, as a seasonal job, which is what I’m doing until I graduate. And then I applied for pilot house and started working with them for a little, but I didn’t enjoy too much of the hourly pay. So I’m deciding to now babysit. I don’t legally have experience with kids. But I do from my family. I had to take care of my two little sisters for 15 years. And I had to experience lots of sacrifices and hard working to keep them happy and safe all those years. But I like to take care of children. I play softball and volleyball for Kayhi. I love to cook, bake too! And I love to paint, or to do anything creative. I loved being a barista at the pilot house, making my own and invented drinks is one of my favs.

I was an older sister having to be a mother to my two little sisters for 15 years. And I helped at the red KIC building which used to be a day care for kids, i don’t know if it still is or not, but when I was little with my sisters I used to help out with the little little babies, like the 12 month old ones. I had a congratulations certificate from them about how helpful and hard working I am.
