I love coming up with fun indoor activities that involve everyday objects. Reading, coloring, and playing with toys are some of my favorite indoor activities to facilitate. I also love spending time outside. I’m happy to take children to nearby parks to play, going for walks or visiting libraries or Icecream shops.

The most important part about being a nanny is creating an environment where children feel loved and safe to explore. It is critical that children have space to learn and grow as well as a guiding hand to keep them safe along the way.
My experience with special needs children...
I have two and a half years of experience with a profoundly autistic, nonverbal boy who is now 9yo. I am comfortable with all aspects of daily life including changing diapers, working with tracking equipment, and being flexible with unique needs such as special food or medication requirements.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was when I taught the profoundly autistic 8yo boy in my care the ASL sign for “eat.” You could see the connection click in his brain and from that day on both he and his four year old sister love to emphatically sign “eat” anytime they are hungry!!
