More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

From Apr/22 to Ap/23 I was responsible for taking care of 3 girls: a 4mo baby, a 4yo, and a 6yo. I used to feed them, drive to places, like parks, school, etc, give them showers, do their laundry, clean after them, and help with their homework.

From Apr/23 to Feb/24, I was a nanny for 4.5yo (kid with special needs) and 2.5yo during the weekdays and some weekends, I was responsible for feeding them, getting them ready for school, cleaning after them, doing their laundry, and bath them.

I am currently working part-time with an 8w baby, I am responsible for feeding her, changing diapers, and playing.

I also have experience working in 2 public daycare centers in Brazil. In the first one, I was a teacher assistant working with babies and toddlers. In the second one, I was responsible for 3 children with special needs. I had to store the toys after the games, feed them, give them baths, adapt all the teaching material to their needs, put them to take a nap, and change diapers.

The activities I most like to do with kids are arts and crafts, coloring, face painting, play soccer, tag, board games, cooking, go to children's museums, parks, and libraries.

The most important part of being a babysitter is always ensuring the well-being of children, ensuring that they are safe, respected, and loved.

My experience with special needs children...

My first experience with special children was working in a daycare center with a 5-year-old boy who had a mental disability, a 3-year-old boy on the autistic spectrum, and a 3-year-old girl with a physical disability in her legs. I was responsible for accompanying them during school activities, adapting materials, helping with food, using the bathroom, and ensuring their inclusion.

I also worked during 10m with a 5-year-old girl diagnosed with speech delay, I was responsible for managing games, feeding her, and getting her ready for school and extracurricular activities.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I love working with children, I love their personalities and how their minds work. I have enormous affection for each child I have had the pleasure of working with. My favorite moments are always when they do something simple and spontaneous that shows that they trust me and feel safe with me.
