A little bit about me

I have 10 years of solid Nanny Experience and is passionate in taking care of children from infant to school age taking full charge. My experience include most of the work associate with the development stages as they achieve milestones, tummy time sleep training, transition to solid food., first step, first word, eating, talking, potty training. Going to the parks, having playdates, music and ballet classes, soccer as toddlers and then they go to pre-school, accompanying them in school during transition until it is okay for them to be just dropped off and picked up. Bring them to after school classes, attending parties. I am also a travel nanny and treal with families, packing, suggesting itineraries and do some PA tasks. I also do light housekeeping that is all child related, organizing room, toys, laundry meal planning and preparing meals. I value respect, open communication in order to be always n sync as my role to be the parent's next in line trusted for their child's safety.

The most important part about being a nanny...

is the trust that they give us to take care of their most precious ones whether they are around or especially when they are not around that we are there for them that they have nothing to worry about. That when they came back from work to a happy home environment where everyone is happy.

My experience with special needs children...

I had experience working with a child who had cerebral palsy. It was my first nanny job (live-in) in New Jersey. He was 7 years old at that time. I graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Social work.

The most important part about being a nanny...

doctor's appointment the Mommy came late so the doctor has to start .and was asked what she (2 yrs old0 ate (nutritious foods) if she ate vegetables - she said what are vegetables the doctor said greens- she said apple! (she had mott's apple slices) and then how about protein like meat and fish. She said yes. Her 4 yr old sister said she does not eat fish. She said, I do. So what fish? she said Goldfish! This was so long ago but right from the babes' mouth- just so funny. Another one was told to make a card for the person they love most - she made the card for me instead of her mom and dad. The teacher called the Mom that the child made the card for me instead of them - and the Mom was so glad she actually she said we love her, too. I have 3 families I used to work with that we are very close we communicated always and am still invited to their special occasions and the other families transferred to Florida invited us to their homes.
