The most important part about being a nanny...
I think there are a lot of important parts about being a nanny. Having a good relationship with the kids, while also being able to discipline if need be. To have a good relationship with the parents so that there can be clear communication. When it comes to taking care of others children, communication is so important on both parties.
My experience with special needs children...
I don't have a ton of experience with special needs children. I have had a special needs child come to my house a few summers ago and I would take care of him, but it was never much.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I have had a lot of moments during nannying that I would put into my "favorites". One experience would be last summer, I was nannying for two little girls and a little boy. One day we went to the water park and the little boy was kind of scared of the water at first, so I had to go in the little splash pad to show him that it was safe. Through that we had a really fun and special day and ended up playing in the water a while together.
