Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I used to babysit as a teenager. When i graduated high school I started working with severe/behavioral special ed students ranging from ages 6-22, i have been doing this for the past 4 years. In the summers I would nanny for 2 boys ages 11-13. I also worked at Utah School for the Deaf and Blind and I have been mostly fluent in ASL for 5 years.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love taking kids to pools, parks, the mall, trampoline parks and everything in between! I also love to plan cute activities like art projects or baking. It depends on the child though, whatever they like I’ll do it with them!!
My experience with special needs children...
I was employed at Utahs School for the Deaf and Blind for 2 years working with a deaf and blind student who I loved so much. I have been employed at Jordan Valley School in Canyons school district for 2 years now. I work with severe/behavioral elementary students. I also have student at my school that go to age 22.
